Summer 2024 was my first season camping at Pleasure Park and it won't be the last. I reached out to them to see if they had any vacancies towards the end of 2023 and they got back to me that same day. They said they had a couple spots open and allowed me to walk the park in the winter to get a good idea of the layout of the park and the specific sites available.

I spent last summer getting to know the really amazing people that both run the park and who camp there. The management and staff were super accommodating and always made themselves available to answer any questions I had. The park is very well maintained and the staff who look after the park are always friendly and helpful. And I can't say enough about how welcoming the other campers were to us, after just one season we made some great friends and can't wait until the park is open again this May.

The facilities at Pleasure Park are great, in fact much better than I expected them to be. The beach is always well maintained and there are plenty of picnic tables and chairs available. They even have some really cool water toys that my nephew loved playing on when we weren't fishing off their oversized docks. And the fishing is good! There is a store that sells ice cream, a kids room to hang out in and multiple large washrooms with showers to service the whole park.

The park has an amazing social committee that organizes different events each weekend that are a ton of fun. My favorite was the Canada Day weekend with beach volleyball, a camp wide BBQ and a live band in the evening. The park has got a real community feel and a fun and inclusive vibe to it which I really liked.

They made setting up our site really easy as they parked our trailer and signed off on us building a deck and adding a gazebo to make the site feel like home. And in the Fall they provided trailer closing services at a fee which made my life a lot easier.

I can't say enough good things about my first season at Pleasure Park, I only wish I had bought a trailer and started camping there sooner.

“First Tent Experience”

This is my first time at Pleasure Park RV Resort and my first time camping in a tent.

Upon arrival, the staff are very friendly and understanding. They allowed us to enter the resort early & checkout the resort, even allowing us to set up minutes earlier. They bring a family friendly atmosphere to the camp and a tremendous amount of care for the campers and site maintenance.

The site we chose to stay at was great. We managed to setup our vehicle, tent and canopie. It also had a lot of decent shade provided by the trees surrounding the site. Our site included electricity with two free outlets & access to a water pipe safely placed beside.

In regards to maintenance, the restrooms & showers are very clean & maintained. I’ve been to Trailer Parks & other Campsites, the bathrooms at this site have been the most maintained I’ve seen at a site. The staff will clean the restrooms & showers every morning and will refer to other available restrooms during the maintenance period upon request of the campers.

The resort provides packages of ice, fire wood & snacks by a very affordable price from the front registration. They also distribute snacks & food at the beach area on Fridays-Sundays.

The beach is clean, with great obstacles for kids, teenagers and adults to enjoy. I’ve had a blast wiping out on them as the kids run the whole course in front of me.

I should note, the smaller fish at the beach will nibble on your hairs, scabs and toes, don’t worry it doesn’t hurt but it will be a ticklish startle if you are standing still in the water. Made a lot of funny memories from them doing that.

Fishing at the beach of the resort features some good catches including large Sun Fish, Bass & Pikes.

You can also take a canoe or boat out by the docks to further out the lake at the resort and probably get larger catches.

This was my first time camping in a tent and I can say from my experience that it has been very memorable and fun at this resort with my family.

This resort and the site we chose will be our go to every year.

Thank you to the staff of pleasure park for your hard work, it does not go unnoticed! 👍

2025

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at Pleasure Park RV Resort for a week recently and WOW, we can't wait to go back next year! Our plan was to stay a few nights and then explore another park after a weekend in Toronto. But we loved the park so much that we extended our stay before we even left.

Smooth and Welcoming Check-In/Check-Out

First Impressions: Driving into the park, it’s obvious that the owners and their team take great care of it. Big, beautiful trees and perfect landscaping everywhere.

Charming Details: Cute street signs like "Stump Lake Rd" and "Pond Alley" add a special touch.

Site Options: Easy-to-maneuver sites, even for large RVs, with choices around the pond, near the lake, in the woods, or more open areas. We chose a site closer to the lake based on a recommendation from the team.

Lakefront: The lake area is PERFECT for families. Our daughter loved the giant inflatable obstacle course.

Immaculate Beach: The beach is groomed daily with straw umbrellas for shade, making it feel like a resort.

The Canteen: Offers ice cream, hot dogs, snacks, cold drinks, and a jumbo crunchy “pickle on a stick”.

Recreation and Exploration: Kayak Adventure: One morning, we rented a kayak and paddled two miles up the lake to a beautiful island with cliffs and wildlife. It was like stepping into a fairy tale.

Hot Showers: After a long weekend at a Hydroplane race, we were desperate for laundry and a hot shower. The bathrooms were IMMACULATE, with clean, modern showers featuring sliding barn doors and bright mirrors. The showers were coin-operated, and the water was hot, and the pressure was perfect!

Inflatable obstacle course on the lake.
Daily groomed beach with straw umbrellas.
 Kayak rentals for lake adventures.
Arcade/game room for rainy days.
Pavilion with picnic tables and shade.

We had SUCH an amazing stay at the Pleasure Park RV Resort, and we can’t wait to book again for next year!
